Our story began almost four years ago with a simple swipe on Hinge. While dating apps can sometimes make the world feel small, we quickly discovered that ours was even smaller—we shared a surprising number of mutual friends and could not believe our paths had never crossed before.From our very first dates, it was clear that we had a lot in common. We bonded over our love of great food, travel, health, and sports. Having both grown up playing competitive sports, we shared the same drive, determination, and appreciation for a little healthy competition. We also discovered a shared passion for helping others through our work in the health industry—a value that continues to shape both our relationship and the life we are building together.Over the years, we have created countless memories together, from trying new restaurants to exploring beautiful destinations around the world. Some of our favorite adventures have been at places that hold special meaning for both of our families—summer days in Muskoka, weekends up north in Collingwood, relaxing on the beaches of the Bahamas, and escaping to the desert landscapes of Tucson, Arizona. These places have become part of our story and have given us some of our most cherished memories together.Before we could start planning the wedding, there was one more unforgettable adventure. Cameron surprised Cynthia with a trip to Menorca, Spain, where he had secretly planned the perfect proposal. What Cynthia thought was a simple olive oil–tasting excursion turned into a moment they would cherish forever when Cameron got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Hidden nearby, a photographer captured every moment of surprise, joy, and happy tears as the next chapter of our story began.One place has always stood out above the rest: Greece. With its incredible food, warm and welcoming people, rich culture, and breathtaking scenery, it quickly became both of our favorite places in the world. So, when it came time to choose where to begin this next chapter, the decision was easy. We could not imagine a more meaningful place to celebrate our love and say, “I do.”As we look ahead, we are excited not only for the adventures still to come but also for the opportunity to continue growing together, supporting one another, helping others through the work we do, and building a life filled with love, laughter, family, and purpose.We are so excited to tie the knot in Greece, surrounded by the people we love most, in the place that has captured our hearts. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Our Story

Carlyn and Cynthia met during their BSS days, and Carlyn later met Cameron while at McGill. Carlyn shares the couple’s Greek Orthodox faith and, as Koumbara, is the female sponsor and chief witness in a Greek Orthodox wedding. Her role is a sacred, lifelong commitment: during the ceremony she will exchange the wedding crowns (stefana) and rings, and afterward she will remain a spiritual mentor and lifelong guide.

Carlyn Bujouves

Avery and Cynthia became fast friends on the ice, bonding through countless practices and tournaments. They won gold together in New York and earned bronze medals on trips to Sweden, Estonia, Prague, and Finland. Their shared adventures also include a visit to Carlo’s Bakery that made them late for a game and time in Arizona. Avery’s loyalty, competitive spirit, and sense of fun make her a cherished bridesmaid and lifelong friend.

Cynthia met Emilie playing hockey when they were eight years old. Their friendship grew from dressing‑room chats and shared giggles on the ice. They made lasting memories at tournaments—especially the trip to New York when Vivi led a few teammates (including Cynthia and Emilie) to Carlo’s Bakery and got them back later than Coach Geoff White liked—and later playing together in Europe and at high‑school parties. Now in medical school in Ireland, Emilie remains Cynthia’s ride‑or‑die friend: loyal, fun, and always close at heart, even when distance keeps them apart.

Gwen is Cameron’s sister and one of Cynthia’s closest friends. They bonded over having older brothers, reading, and a shared love of sports—especially golf and tennis—and their friendship has deepened over the years. Gwen’s warmth, steady support, and playful spirit make her a trusted confidante and a favorite partner for weekends up north, quiet book recommendations, and family gatherings. Cynthia is thrilled to welcome Gwen as a sister and values the comfort and laughter Gwen brings to every moment.

Rachael and Cynthia met at BSS and reconnected when Rachael transferred to Queen’s University; they became roommates at 267 University and fast friends. Their time together was full of late-night conversations, laughter, and spontaneous adventures. They share a love of dinners, travel—especially trips to the Bahamas—books, and sports. Despite moving to NYC, Rachael and Cynthia remain close. Rachael’s warmth, sense of fun, and love of a good conversation make her a treasured bridesmaid and lifelong friend.

Gen and Cynthia met at BSS and built many fun high-school memories together. They share a passion for fashion, enjoy long conversations and great dinners.   Even with Gen now living in New York City, the distance has never dimmed their friendship: they stay close through regular calls, holiday visits, and weekend meetups whenever schedules allow. Cynthia admires Gen’s impeccable sense of style, thoughtful advice, and warm presence; Gen’s steady encouragement has been a constant through many life chapters, making her an invaluable bridesmaid and dear friend.

Cynthia and Hayley first met at Kemur horseback riding camp, bonding over long days outdoors and a shared love of horses. Their friendship deepened during competitive hockey—where they became fast friends and supported each other through games and practices—and continued when Hayley joined BSS. In university they spent a memorable stretch of time in Arizona while Hayley played for ASU, creating lasting memories that cemented their bond. Hayley’s steady presence and longtime friendship are why she stands by Cynthia as a bridesmaid.

Sydney and Cynthia met on the soccer field at NT, where Sydney—nicknamed "Flash" by Geoff—shared Cynthia’s love of sport on both the soccer pitch and the hockey rink. They played together on an away hockey tournament in Europe where their team won bronze, and though Sydney spent a few years living in Spain, they picked up right where they left off when she returned. Today they enjoy golfing, playing tennis, and long conversations; Sydney’s energy, loyalty, and shared love of sport make her a treasured bridesmaid and lifelong friend.

It all started in the schoolyard at Brantwood Public School, where Henry and Cameron met at the age of four. That playground introduction sparked a lifelong brotherhood defined by friendly competition and shared passions. From ski racing and golf to tennis, soccer, and hockey, they have spent over two decades side by side through every sport and season.

Call him Moneyball, Jim Cramer, or the ultimate strategist—Graeme has a sharp instinct for seeing the big picture and the rare gift of holding a brilliant, engaging conversation about anything with anyone. Holding the title of eldest Dymond brother by a proud 15 minutes, Graeme has always set the bar, remaining someone Cameron looks up to in all areas of life.

Griffin and Cameron first connected in middle school, bonding over their shared drive on the slopes while competing for the Ontario Ski Team. That early synergy grew into a lasting friendship that carried them through years as roommates—first at McGill University and later back home in Toronto—where they became best friends through shared meals, morning workouts, and countless weekend adventures.

While many know Malcolm for his sharp mind in finance, those closest to him know where his true priorities lie: family above everything else. As the younger twin by a crucial 15 minutes, Malcolm is fiercely loyal and the first to step up for the people he loves when push comes to shove. Effortlessly charismatic and quick with a joke, he brings non-stop laughter and unwavering devotion to every gathering.

Saunders is the literal definition of someone who would give you the shirt off his back. Generous, reliable, and family-first, he and Cameron share a bond that goes beyond brotherhood—and a future business venture. Bridal ShowerBridal, garden-party elegant. Guests are encouraged to wear feminine, polished attire in soft florals, pastel shades, blush, or other light celebratory tones. Flowy dresses, romantic silhouettes, and refined details are perfect for the “Petals and Prosecco” theme. Think stylish, comfortable, and photo-ready — with a touch of sparkle or floral flair to complement the occasion.

Welcome PartyGuests are invited to wear chic all‑white attire: flowing dresses, tailored jumpsuits, linen shirts, and smart trousers—light, breathable fabrics are recommended for our All White Affair on the Athenian Riviera.

Wedding Ceremony and ReceptionTo complement the elegance of our celebration, we request black tie–preferred attire for the wedding. Women may wear long evening gowns or formal floor-length dresses. Men are encouraged to wear a tuxedo. If a tuxedo is not available, a dark suit and tie are appropriate.

They are all wonderful! The Island is where our reception is being held and they will be building waterfront rooms (cabanas) in May 2027 so a fantastic option too.
